It won’t be long now until the much awaited Travis Strikes Again, the third instalment in the No More Heroes franchise is released. The game follows Travis Touchdown who has been trapped with the Death Drive MkII console along with Bad Dad who is the father of Bad Girl from the original No More Heroes (who was also a complete pain in the arse to beat).
It’s certainly a bit different from the first two, with Travis Strikes Again taking place inside individual games. It’s guaranteed to be just as whacky as the first two games, which certainly isn’t a bad thing. Hopefully it’ll also mean that there will be a remaster of 1 and 2, these were truly amazing games.
A season pass has also been announced for Travis Strikes Again. This will unlock two new playable characters; Shinobu and Bubblegum Fatale as well as additional stages.
It’s also been highlighted that Robin Atkin Downes will once again be voicing Travis Touchdown which is great news. He really brought the character of Travis to life so it’s good to hear (heh) that we’ll be able to listen to his one liners and rants once again.
Travis Strikes Again: Nor More Heroes will be released on the 18th January 2019 and the Season Pass also lands on the same day. If you are buying the physical copy of the game, Nintendo have revealed that the Season Pass will be included in the game box. This is actually a pretty nice bonus and unlike the usual trend that we normally see with Season Pass’. The game is available to pre-order now on the Nintendo eShop as well as on Amazon.
